With all the pomp and splendor, the 1st edition of the KLH-Global Business School Chronicles was launched on 7th November 2022. The Chronicle which was the thoughtful cognizance of the students was launched by the National award-winning TV Journalist Ms. Prema Malini Vanam in presence of other University officials including Dr. A. Ramakrishna, Deputy Director, KLH-GBS, Dr. Bala Nagalakshmi, HOD at the ceremony in the campus in Hyderabad.
The launch was followed by an interactive session by the Chief Guest, Ms. Prema, on “Handling pressure.” She enlightened the students and staff on how should one can handle pressure with anecdotes from her personal and professional life. Her interaction was full of humor, honesty, and genuine emotion, making it easy for audiences to connect with her story. She insisted to read more books, listen to music, or simply taking a walk outside to clear her mind and regain a sense of self-worth after experiencing something emotionally taxing in her daily life. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the interaction by posing many interesting questions.
With a career span of over 20 years of experience in Digital Media Journalism, Ms. Prema Malini Vanam is known for her work on Top TV News channels and interviewed more than 1000 renowned people from varied fields. She has made People oriented Documentaries titled PRAJAPAKSHAM with about 250 episodes on issues like Education, Empowerment, Environment, Livelihoods, Women and Child issues, etc.
The first edition of KLH-GBS CHRONICLES (Aug-Sep Issue, 2022) is a collaborative effort of student members. A student committee is formed to collect the relevant write-ups and student contributions. Harshita Verma I, V. Sree Lashya of MBA first year, B. Kalpana, Rana Reddy, N. Aravind, Bhanu Teja of BBA second year, and M. Rashmitha, B. Meghana, D. Jahnavi, and N. Sri Ramani, of BBA first year, are part of the student committee. The components of the Chronicle were Editorial, Words of Wisdom, Hobby Corner, Jokes, Riddles, Quizzes, Creative minds, and Life at GBS. In the next editions, the student committee wants to highlight the achievements of students and faculty. The newsletter will be released in the second week of every month.
