
KL Global Business School Hyderabad Explores Dynamics 0f the Corporate World with HR Professionals
To inculcate professional values and professional corporate mindset, KLH Global Business School organized ‘Coffee with HR’ at its campus in Hyderabad recently. This is a first-of-its-kind conversation at KLH GBS. The event was led by HR expert Ms. Sujitha Ravoori, Head of Business Partnering & Talent Management, Arecesium, Hyderabad. The Business School is planning to organize a series of interactive sessions for its students, to provide them with ample opportunities to interact with various dynamic leaders and business professionals and understand the current HR practices and challenges that are prevalent in the corporate world.
The coffee with HR initiative was received on a positive note by the students of the management stream. The students had actively participated in the session and got a chance to listen to the accomplishments, real-life anecdotes, and success stories. Dr. G. P. Saradhi Varma, Vice Chancellor, KL Deemed to be University said that such sessions help students achieve a deeper understanding of the best practices of the corporate world and learn to adapt themselves to the changing corporate needs. This is another achievement added to the kitty and the university plans to host a series of such enriching sessions with renowned HR professionals in the future.
The main intention of the initiative is to create connections and great engagement with the industry experts and also to provide awareness about leadership engagement, employee engagement initiatives, HR policies, identification of one’s personality, and finding the right job. The need for excellence was largely stressed on this occasion by Dr. A. Ramakrishna, Director, KLH GBS.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Sujitha Ravoori said, “It is a remarkable endeavor by the management and mentors at the business school to provide their students with the best and the most candid industry exposure. The interactions of the event would open new doors of possibilities for the students. The whole idea is to ignite new ideas among the students.” Ms. Ravoori is an experienced professional with around two decades of experience in managing and leveraging human capital to create high-performance work cultures and build people-centric organizations.

The experts at the session spoke extensively about how employee well-being is the primary focus of the companies and how human resources are aimed towards connecting the right people with the right job role. Talk on the latest trends in HR, interactive sessions on invigorating topics like how the happiness of employees is considered one of the most important aspects in today’s job world, how companies are mapping their happiness index, and how companies have started to think out of the box and how innovation culture is now a primary focus in large corporations, were also held. Convener Dr. Swarupa, along with other faculty members, university officials and students contributed to make the event a success.
