Quality is not what happens when what you do matches your intentions. It is what happens when what you do matches your stakeholders' expectations.
The establishment of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) by Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF) deemed to be University is a major step in pushing long-term quality standards. IQAC in KLEF is a significant administrative body that is responsible for all quality matters. The prime responsibility of KLEF – IQAC is to initiate, plan and supervise various activities that are necessary to increase the quality of the education in the University. The IQAC of KLEF takes a major role in maintaining quality standards in teaching, learning, evaluation and the research with a defined and achievable outcome.
The IQAC at KLEF can promote and determine quality related activities and issues through various programmes and activities such as seminars, workshops, symposia, conferences, panel discussions, role playing exercises, (model) demonstrations, case studies, academic meetings and any such kind of event or programme for all the stakeholders of the University.
The prime task of the IQAC here is develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the University.
Roles of IQAC in KLEF
1. Academic & Administrative Audits
The IQAC organizes an Academic and Administrative Audit to evaluate the efficacy and robustness of our quality management procedures and to review our efforts towards continued enhancement of quality education. The Audit provided for a strategic overview of the entirety of the teaching and learning activity. Conducts External Audit and Review with an external panel of academic professionals with sounded knowledge of Higher Education and experience. A report of the review was produced by the expert team is undoubtedly executing in the guidelines by preparing a suitable action plan to address areas of recommendations and concerns that were identified.
2. Conducting Quality improvement programs like Workshops, Conferences, Trainings, Talks and Discussions etc.
The IQAC conducts workshops, expert talks, training programs and awareness campaigns regularly. The deliberations on innovative teaching, learning, evaluation practices and administration discussed in those sessions were useful in enhancing quality the quality of higher education. It also creates a platform for educators to update themselves on the latest trends and developments in their areas of specialization.
